SIN-mel-HBA-mel-BNE-SIN seems like a decent mileage run. $728 for around 10k QF points. Wonder what class it'd book into for AAdvantage.

Non sale fares book into "V". I am not sure what this will book into.

NOrmal SIN-PER-SIN is S$398 in "V". I have noticed that lately you can get it for S$348 but looking at the conditions I would estimate it books into "O".

Is it me or is that routing exceeding the rules, that is 1 desination + 1 bonus city? Wonder if you can go SIN-MEL-DRW-MEL-SIN, and if you can what routing you get MEL-DRW given its a JQ route.

As stated earlier sale fares from QF SIN website usually book into V class.

SIN-MEL-HBA-MEL-SIN is ~SG$1170, ~A$1020 when you include the +++ and then add on the service fee, special cannot be booked online, of SG$75*, ~A$60. Also adding BNE as a stopover is likely to increase the taxes and fuel surcharges.

So I think SIN-MEL-HBA-MEL-BNE-SIN will be >A$1100 which is OK but not fantastic.

No as MEL would only be a transit. Only way to get to HBA from SIN is via MEL or SYD and then if BNE is your added stopover again only realistic routing is via MEL or SYD.

MEL-DRW may be routed via ADL, SYD or BNE. I am not sure if I have seen any JQ flights from SIN website but DRW is not listed as a destination on the lead in page. It would still be a valid stopover.

Anyone willing to call SIN and get this confirmed?

* I am not sure of the exact SG$ service fee.

Seems like you can book this online now. Just done a sample SIN-PER-SYD-SIN for $628 plus a disturbing $424 in taxes.

Ouch ! that a lot of taxes.
I actually got a price a little less SIN-MEL-SIN, yes flying direct for one in my life, could not even afford the time to do a via SYD trip ! not many SC for this run.
