Has anyone had interaction (good or bad) with VFS Tasheel International in Canberra?

The website indicates a largish world wide company but it also lacks both a certain amount of user friendly design and telephone numbers...

Where are you wandering to Fred ?

As I'm sure you are aware, if you are in Canberra you may be able to deal directly with the relevant embassy rather than paying fees to an agent.

VFS Tasheel is the EXCLUSIVE agency for the Middle Eastern country where I need to get a visa processed. I already have the pertinent government authorization letter and only need the paperwork completed and the visa inserted into the passport.

I'm about as far from Canberra as you can get and not be in the tropics...

VFS is used for India visa's in Australia and vice versa Australian visa applications in India and nepal are done through VFS. If this is the same VFS then you should be fine. Which ME country are you off to?
