Hi All,

Even though I fly pretty much once per week (MEL>PER at the moment), I've never used VA Valet parking at MEL but always use undercover long term parking.

What are the experiences of other AFF members using VA Valet parking? Costs? Convenience?

Cheers

I use it in Brisbane quite frequently,

Convenience wise, it is pleasant to just drive in hand the keys over and walk straight to priority check in and when you get back grab the bags straight off the conveyer belt and walk straight back to a waiting car.
Cost wise it is expensive (relative to normal domestic parking) for the first 2 days ... but after that it is only $10.00 a day or thereabouts so can be comparable if you are away for 4 days or longer.

The one con for me is that it is billed on my card as Brisbane Airport Corporation Parking, not Virgin Australia Parking so you get no points for using the service :-/

I was planning on using the Sydney valet parking for the first time. My flight will be arriving back in Sydney at 10.35. I understand that the pick-up closes at 11pm. What happens if my flight is delayed?

I guess you'll be wearing out shoe leather!
