Does anyone have any recent examples of whether a 241 flight is deducted from BOTH flyers when both velocity numbers are added at booking?

If so, is the fix to book with the primary velocity number and add the secondary after booking but pre-flight.....or to make a retro-claim on the secondary account holder, post-flight.......?

I flew on 2for1 in November I mistakenly added both velocity numbers to the booking, pleased to find only the primary account had the flight deducted.

So fixed it would appear! Thanks.

Agreeing - appears to be fixed, booked flights OOL-MEL last month for travel this weekend using 2FOR1CC, came off the primary card holder's account (who put through the booking) and didn't also go against my own 2FOR1CC available. In the past, when both pax input their velocity numbers, and both had 2FOR1CC offers available for redemption, they would deduct off both accounts at the booking stage. Will report back again after the flights are taken this weekend (although the transition to SABRE may affect this in some way, although I expect not).

Safe flying,

CB
