But was this the only craft that Richard Branson was advertising on flights for?

Sad, but anyone who thinks space flights are safe is deluded.
From this, they will investigate what went wrong, and improve things for the future.
The airline industry is similar. It took (and still takes) many incidents to make it the (relatively) safe industry today.

I heard about this on the radio this morning... think it may be a while longer for space flights start now.
Who knows if it can recoup the investment either... 800 by about $250k, assuming they all feel safe, is still probably short of what it's cost to develop it all.

Ashton Kutcher was on Conan last week and it came up how he booked a seat. He said something like he didn't want to on the first flight.
