Just read this in the age if this is correct it is great to see it back in the black.

Virgin Australia has posted a $55.3 million pre-tax profit in the second quarter of this financial year as it benefits from a truce in its battle with Qantas in the domestic air-travel market and cheaper jet fuel.
While the airline is not due to report its half-year results until February 19, the release of the quarterly figures on Friday means that Virgin posted a profit of $10.3 million for the second half, compared with a $49.7 million loss previously.

No replies? That's a bit odd. I must admit, I like a lot of what VA are doing these days. Not handing out freebies left right and centre and making sale fares enticing without being ridiculous. I've even been paying real money for J which I never ever would have previously. They seem to have reached a doable "sale" structure which has won me............until they decide to stuff it up again.

I would disagree on sale fares. I'm not complaining but some of their sale fares in the last 12 months have been as low as back in the early days of DJ. I'm surprised they can still offer fares this low.
