Has anyone bought them?

What are the costs involved in changing the name on it? Does this and the booking have to be made through the GCC meaning higher costs? Does one earn Velocity points on the flight/s booked?

Seems like too much hassle to me...

Please share any experiences or knowledge on this matter.
Thanks

There is no cost involved in changing names as it is just a credit. It can't be booked online, only through the call centre so yes each sector is $15 more. That means if you buy say $600 to use on multiple flights, the $15 extra will add up quickly and overtake any saving you may have.

The only real cost benefit would be to use it on expensive sectors, ie: Pacific Blue.

Velocity earning is still the same as normal.
