Virgin Australia Pick Your Bonus Promo - Double Points or Status Credits - Ends 15 May 2026

I think this offer gets me to gold requalification on 1 June compared to a Feb 2027 review date, but would need a big change in plans for the rest of the year to contemplate looking to platinum.

Anyone know if this stacks with the corporate traveler double SC promo that ends tomorrow?
Mine did, ADL to PER got me 57 SC x 3. Bloody amazing. Made up for the fact I had to fly Qantas 1 way just because of timing.

Between the corporate traveller double SC and this deal, I am halfway to requalifying as Gold in a little under three weeks since I retained Gold.

I can confirm that the DSCs posted straight away (I used VA to go to and from Sydney for the Masterclass). Their speed at posting the points and credits (at least in this case) is definitely a positive, even if their program is less lustrous than it used to be.

I activated the double status credit offer during the time period and booked flights. Virgin cancelled one of my scheduled flights yesterday due to “aircraft maintenance” and rebooked me on a new flight today. Will I still get my double credits? They haven’t seemed to appear straight away like an earlier flight’s double status credit did a week a go.

My wife and myself booked return legs NTL TO MEL in business for the DSC, return flights were expensive but we had reasons to be in Melbourne in any case that weekend. DSC for first leg land in our accounts a few hours after landing. We both missed the meal on the way down as we are both vegetarian and we were last to be served. I got the how did we do email from Virgin and I made it very clear how the crew are put in an impossible situation and are always very polite. My remarks about the people who make the decisions that are out of the on board crew's control were a little scathing.

At no time did we make a fuss and we copped it on the chin, crew were absolutely fantasic and professional about the situation.

Return leg came and went , my wife's DSC land promptly same as first leg and same as they have always have previously. We had started pooling after I had not taken many flights since the new SC rules came into place and had already dropped to gold. My wife though had taken more flights mainly because of work related stuff.
My DSC have still not landed and they would have been enough for her to maintain Platinum but she to has dropped to gold.

I called about my DSC and was dismissed immediately and told to call back in 4 weeks. Extremely frustrating and it is safe to say we will be avoiding the lcc in the future.
