Virgin Australia orders 8 Embraer E190-E2 jets for delivery from 2025

Do any of the E2s have wifi or IFE?

I seem to recall that the early deliveries were delivered without and planned to be retrofitted sometime this year.

Might be a bug but a few of the E2 flights I've checked this morning on DRW to PER are now showing business class selectable EconomyX.

They are still selling business class on the flights so more likely a bug.
Tell me you’ve selected 1F then?

What will be even more interesting is if these selections stick. Anyone travelled yet?

I tried selecting these on an upcoming E2 flight Broome to Perth. It allowed me to pay $44.00 for seat 2A, took my money and didn’t allocate the seat. Now Virgin can’t seem to find that $44.00 allocated to my booking so it’s been a bit of back and forth on the phone. Still waiting on the refund… so looks like a bug. Wish they had honoured it haha

On E2D as we speak, and correct. No IFE and WiFi system is “down” in the words of the FA

When I was on it the other week it was announced as "yet to be installed". Did you get an email from Virgin to tell you as much before hand? I did when I travelled on the E2 last year, but didn't get one either time this year. Just the usual one about Perth Airport being under construction and to arrive early for check in (even for the flight that arrived into Perth rather than departed from it).
