Is this the same aircraft and fitout on the ADL DPS run? We have that to look forward to in September (in the cheap seats though)

Next time try to get on Air NZ which is a much nicer fitout even on the A320's

Generally if flying the Alliance I fly Air NZ via CHC just becasue I can get works plus cheaper than Premium Economy with VA and yeah as you say more comfy and got PTV's as well. But needed to fly direct DUD-BNE flight as it was cheap.

Just wish NZ and VA would line up their product, it should be J (8 Seats) , Y+ (8 seats) and Y with meal service and entertainment included and both should offer PTV's (like VA's A33's and NZ's entire fleet!!) Wish it was more consistent and not as confusing as it seems to be now.

VA offering meals is a good start in the right direction but it's placing another inconsisteny within the system, do the NZ seat only pax get them or only VA customers? lol it's cough like that, it's just confusing!!

Now i will continue to fly J with QF, LAN or EK it's far easier and you know what you get each and every time.

Trans-tasman is very low yield. That's why NZ withdrew their inclusive Y product, and their entire narrow body J product, in 2010. I can't see it making a comeback.

Yet QF, EK and Even LAN are all able to fill their cabins accross the Tasman, Obviously EK and LAN have the connection but majority I have seen have only been going accross the Tasman as they are clearning customs and getting baggage. Suprised JB hasn't tried to install it but guess having the alliance with NZ messes things up as it is it's a shambles.
