I received the following email offer from Vintage Cellars today:



The specific model does not seem to exist on the Vintec web site, that I can find, so I'm guessing it has been invented specifically for this offer meaning checking their alledged value of the fridge a tad difficult.

That said, if you value the wines at an average of $20 per bottle, there is $600 of wine plus $300 for the fridge which is reasonable, IMO.

This deal slipped my mind until tonight when I decided to actually price the wine up. The 30 bottles offered come to $954.02 from Vintage Cellars. I expect shopping around would yield some savings over that price, but it does put the deal in perspective and make it seem quite good value.

I don't see the Coldstream Hills 'The Hills' or the Pepperjack Premium Cut offered except at various Coles group outlets. If they are made-for-Coles, I'd be pretty wary of any valuation VC puts on them (they are also cheaper at 1st Choice). The Grey Label is regularly available at ~$25. The best of the bunch is the Bin 28.

If you'd buy a bunch of these anyway, then it's probably a decent deal.
