Ive had a look around the forums and cant quite find what im looking for.

Im looking at some flights from DAD to SGN on 26/1/15.
They currently come up as a special sale rate which equate to $45aud p/pax.

Ive gone all the way though with the booking information up until the submit button but no where does it say about checked baggage nor the option to purchase it.

I can only assume at $45 pax this would not include baggage and ive heard too any times about excess baggage being charged..

Am i missing something?

The fare rules dont include information about baggage
The 'baggage information' Baggage and Optional Service Charges | Vietnam Airlines appears quite ambiguous... It could be interpreted at 40kg per economy pax but im not 100% sure and that sounds excessive.

Can someone help me out?

This is something I was looking at recently while booking a flight for my dad for CAN - MEL via SGN.

The economy checked baggage allowance within Asia is 20 Kg. The 40Kg limit is for flights between Japan and Australia/Asia via Vietnam or for Premium Economy.

I can confirm the VN allowance for a domestic is 20kg. No piece limit.
