Hi all,
Hoping you can help a newbie making decision. Just got a new job that require me to travel frequently (50-70) segments on (economy fully flexible )a year on Virgin/Qantas (mostly Virgin). I don't have any status credit on both. My company decided to only buy lounge membership on Qantas and hoping that I will get status with Velocity soon to get lounge access. I'm considering putting m miles to Etihad mainly because of upgrade. I'm wandering which one would get me status quicker between Velocity or Etihad? Can I get access to Virgin lounges on Etihad Gold or does it have to be Gold Elite?
