Velocity points transfer to Family

Hey,
I'll need to transfer 500k velocity to partner, before partner move those points to Krisflyer. The family pooling is currently set the other direction.
Wanted to check:
1. Can I do the 4x125k on the same day?
2. Is the 500k limit a calendar limit, or a membership limit (I couldn't find my membership). Reallity is that partner's account will need ~600k velocity
3. I read on some forums that once transffered, some velocity activity must occurs within 30 days otherwise the transfered points disseapear. Is that still true? Just earning points is enough? It's not a deal breaker as the points will go to krisflyer more or less immediatly.

1) I can't comment on doing 4 x 125 but I've transferred 2 x125 in a day on the same call and had no problems at all -
2) I believe the limit is per membership year
3) seen this as well but not sure on the rules - sorry

This occurs if the points are transferred to an account that is essentially already dormant...e.g. has had no activity for 12 months. If the account has had recent activity the transferred points will not expire.

I would actually be more concerned about transferring 500k+ points to Krisflyer in one transaction. There seems to be a situation were large transfers are flagged for audit / fraud and the points disappear into the ether before eventually being returned to Velocity. I would transfer in multiple transactions each under 500k.
