Velocity points on an SQ codeshare ANA flight?

I am flying on ANA but booked on Singapore Airlines so have an SQ flight number. I have my velocity number attached to the booking, will I attract any velocity points? Or am I better off having them as Krisflyer points and then transferring them? Or some other option? I have no idea about this type of thing at all, way too complex for me! Ultimately I am only interested in velocity points/status credits but if I can earn with one of the other airlines and transfer that would be fine as well. From what I could read I may not be eligible for anything?
