Me again :)

Traveling United from MEL to SFO to LHR with Virgin Platinum. I have linked my velocity number to my booking. Reading online I can see I should get the Premeir Access etc but I am wondering if my Guest on the same booking can go through the preferred secuirty lanes and priority boarding with me since I have read usually United is very strict with that.

Anyone with experience?

Last time I tried my guest got premier access also noted on their BP. They were on the same booking.
