Velocity - Pay with points

I know this program is surely not the best use of points, but I have been actively reaching out to Velocity around the conversion rate used when converting $ to points.
There is no such information on their website, and even the member support doesn't reveal these details.
Does anyone have an idea about this conversion rate?
