This is an odd question, but I'm just booking some DL USA Domestic sectors and when I go to enter my frequet flyer number, the Delta website gives you a drop down list of all its partner airlines.

Whats confusing is that it lists Virgin Blue / Velocity and also V Australia / Velocity as two different partner airlines (presumably from the days of two different AOCs).

I'm sure the probably both work and will credit to VA, I'm just wanting to see what other people who've booked with DL have put in to ensure the S/C and points credit without issue.

What have you fine people used in the past?

Well spotted, I noticed that also when I booked a flight from CUN-LAX a few weeks ago. I can't remember which one I picked, but I figure if we keep the boarding passes we'll be fine. I'll be especially careful to keep those boarding passes though

use the V Australia option as that will be the VA code ...... Virgin Blue will add a DJ code

As an aside you need to use " DJ - Virgin Blue " when crediting Hilton stays to Velocity at the hotel.

I noticed that too when I was looking at some domestic US flights recently. What's really weird is that I made a domestic booking on DL about a month ago and they had the proper Virgin Australia (VA) code in their system. Why has it changed? It's kept me from booking my flights.

For what it's worth, I just booked a bunch of flights on the DL website. I put my number in a V Australia / Velocity and it once the booking had completed it successfully identified me as VA Gold.

So I guess thats an indication its at least reading the Velocity database correctly.

Thanks. Need to book a bunch of flights in the next week with DL, so that's good to know.
