Velocity Gold flying Delta in the USA

Hi,

I booked a flight with Delta for next week while my Velocity Status was Silver, but it has since gone up to Gold Status due to some SC's taking a while to be deposited into my account.

When I look at my Delta booking, it still shows Silver Medallion instead of Gold Medallion now that i have been bumped up to Gold. My question is, will i be entitled to the Velocity Gold benefits while flying next week even if my booking still states Silver? Will it be updated or can Delta look up my Velocity Status when i check in?

A common way to rectify this issue is to remove your FF number and then re-enter it. Hopefully it should then show your updated status.

Definitely

Remove the number on delta.com and re enter and it will update as Gold.

I can verify that the method mentioned by the prior two posters this is strait forward and works well.
