Velocity earns with Coles via Ebay

Hi all,

I tried to verify this through the call centre itself, but the agents I spoke to weren't even aware that Velocity Status Credits could be earned shopping through Coles, which didn't do much for my confidence in their advice. So I thought my fellow FFs might have a more solid answer.

Can status credits be earned if shopping Coles via eBay or is it purely through Coles online direct and in-store?

Flybuys has advised me that their bonus points offers don't apply to ebay, and I'm assuming that as eBay are a 3rd party, the answer is no, but would like to be 100% certain as it will influence whether or not I purchase an Ebay Plus membership.

1. Status credits: no, as the purchase is through ebay, not coles. Bonus status credits only apply to Coles directly.
2. Correction to statement on flybuys bonus point comment above. Bonus offers may apply to ebay, traditionally done through ebay plus although there hasn't been anything lately. Hence theoretically possible but practically may not be anything.
