Velocity double dip?

New to Velocity - I know this doesn't work for QF but if using Hotelclub or similar with MR bonus points, is it then possible to do a retro points claim on the Velocity website and double dip?

I realise that the it shouldn't in theory, but I can't see anything about why it wouldn't on the Velocity site. The booking doesn't have to be done through the Velocity travel site like it you do with QF holidays.

Anyone had any luck or otherwise?

I am just having problems getting points posted for hotel stays that I book via the Velocity site. Have put in a request for missing points and the first claim is 2 months old. Not good enough DJ if you want to keep my business.

With QF points are always posted within 4 weeks, even on a direct booking and just quoting my QF FF number on check in.
