Velocity 15% transfer bonus May 2025

The T&Cs state that "Bonus Points will be allocated to the Member’s Velocity account by 30 June 2025". Unlike previous promotions, it looks like they are waiting until then rather than instantaneously.

I wonder whether this is dressing up the accounts for the VA IPO, if they wait until 1 July, they avoid showing the expense and liability until the new financial year.

hmmm. well if they deliver the points by 30th June, then figures based on 1st July will still include those points, so just how will the figures at 1 July be dressed up any better?
Still same financial year.
They can't deliver the bonus points 1 July as per their own T&C's.

Actually looking at my transaction history, the transfer bonus for the November 2024 transfer promotion wasn't posted until 10 January 2025, which probably means this time round they will come in early July. And Airwin you're right they probably have to accrue for them.
