Validity Period of Status's

Hi Guys,

This may be a dumb question, but here goes... I understand my FF year is Nov - Nov. If I qualify for Silver, Gold etc, do I immediately step up, and then maintain that until my next anniversary? EG, if I qualified for gold today would I get 16 months of gold? The reason I ask is that I am looking at a status run to nudge me from silver to Gold & wonderwing whether I should do it now or wait until closer to November.....?

When you attain the new status, you get the balance of the year remaining and the next year at that level.

Keen as to get there - just need to book my planned JASA - I'm holding off for a DSC offer, but I think that is wishful thinking!
