Apologies for the rant ... TLDR I need an escalation point for VA / Velocity

Velocity recently ran a promotion and I have been chasing the bonus status credits for weeks now. I have followed all the correct channels and have landed with a supervisor in Manila.

He has refused to award the bonus points because his system says that I did not register for the offer.

I'm frustrated - and putting the effort into following it up - because I believe that I did register for the offer. There were two promotions running concurrently and he has told me that I have only registered for one promotion and not the other. Make that make sense.

I have little faith in the antiquated technology that VA use ... in the last 6 months I have lodged 5 retroactive points claims because my FF# has not been attached to my booking. Despite me now keeping screenshots during the booking process and getting paper boarding passes to support these claims (which - by the way - all have been verified and points / SC awarded). And BTW - I book through the VA Business Flyer Portal!

After he told me he is the highest escalation point for the matter, I said to him: "lets assume that I did forget to register for the promotion. I am a WP, fly only in Business Class and have been a loyal flyer for several years now. I did all the required flying. I registered for the other promotion. As a gesture of goodwill, you could say "Mr Beast Man I'll do it on this occasion only". He refused and said that wasn't fair to the other FF that clicked the right link.

So yeah, it's just the principle of the matter and I'd like to escalate further (hopefully to someone with some common sense).

Anyhow - rant over.

This whole thing is a massive own goal for Virgin - so many unhappy long term high value customers on the thread about this promotion (so you can imagine how many more there are that don't post here)

Maybe try the ACA
