VA SYD International Lounge

This article on AFF caught my eye today:

Sydney Airport lounge update: Virgin Australia/Etihad, Singapore Airlines, MAS - Flights | hotels | frequent flyer | business class - Australian Business Traveller

It made me wonder if Etihad and Virgin are being so picky to find the right space for a lounge, what it'd look like.

There could be a clash happening here, would they go with a funky Virgin Atlantic style clubhouse, or a more conservative Etihad Lounge?

I get the impression it'll be Etihad that will be mostly in charge of the lounge, they like to be in control, right?

What do others think? Either way, I'm keen to see what VA/EY pull out of their hat.

I can only hope that EY is in control!!! The LHR T4 EY lounge is very pleasant. Not so sure I like the, soon to be DL, VS approach.
