VA redemption flight on ANZ Rewards Travel

I just booked my redemption flight from my ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures card. Got my velocity number added as well to the booking, so it shows up that I'm VA Gold, gives me my additional free baggage, seat selection etc.

What I can't work out, is will I earn points + status credits + eligible sectors for this flight?

It appears this is booked under Economy(T).

yes you will, its mentioned ad nauseam in the ANZ Travel adventures thread. Eventually ANZ might figure out how to prevent this, but for now take it as a free gift

ANZ Travel agents will say no but as of now you will earn points + status credits on those flights until they figure it out how to stop the automation.

Edit: You can even bid for an upgrade or use point upgrade.

As velocity platinum can you get econX seat.
Also can you change the booking later on
