VA premium

I couldn't find a thread about this so forgive me if this has already been covered.
But, has anyone flown the new 777 VA 'premium' cabin (formerly premium economy)?
I have a flight coming up and I'd like to know how much better it is now than the former premium economy.

I don't recall seeing any reviews on here either, but I seem to recall hearing that it's pretty good.

Perhaps you could write a trip report for us after taking the flight?

Oh I will, but it's not till Feb.

Food and bev excellent, a clear step-up from former. No change to seat width (IMHO). Possibly more pitch, hard to tell. Vastly improved AVOD however still well behind current J. I love the 'pantry' - self-serve chocos and drinks. Ultimately I think it's a great PE but as always, would want it at the Saver level (or whatever they call it now).

Pitch has gone from 38in to 41in so it seems pretty significcant. Do they have footrests?

Yes I recall footrests, and they had multiple height settings from memory. When I wrote 'hard to tell' what I was alluding to was yes aware the pitch had increased but it didn't necessary feel like more than before. But ultimately it's a good class of PE in my book, I would certainly choose it again.
