Quick Question for the forum.
I have 8 Lounge passes available in my profile. As a WP, i dont see when I would ever use them.

My wife and daughter are travelling this weekend BNE-MEL-BNE with out me. Can I gift 4 of these to them in order to have Lounge access? If so, how as I can not seem to click or print anything from the Velocity website?

Hi Steve,

Unfortunately the lounge passes don't work in this way and can't be "gifted" (I wanted to flick a couple to my old man who is only PS and found out it wasn't possible).

However, I understand (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) that if you go with your wife and daughter to the airport (in BNE) you will be able to guest them into the lounge, provided they are flying on VA of course.

This is correct - if you take them to the lounge they will get in no worries.

You could even possibly try them taking your WP Velocity card with them to the lounge (without you) and explaining the situation. This *might* work (I dont think anyones ever tried it but the VA Lounge staff are usually extremely flexible).

Im in the same boat as you - I have several lounge passes on my account that I'll never use.
 
Im in a similar situation with two lounge passes from making silver that wont get used as i have paid lounge membership. A colleague is flying to ADL-BNE next week and I had hoped to gift use of one of the comp passes to him. Ill already be in BNE so guesting isn't an option.
