VA lounge access at OOL whilst on ANZ

I notice the OOL-ZQN fares are miles cheaper on ANZ than VA (almost AU$200 each return).

So my questions I'm hoping someone can clarify, are:

1. In the case of OOL departures (INT & DOM in the same terminal) does that arrangement work in reverse....ie, use the VA (dom) lounge on ANZ (int) flight?
2. Is there an ANZ lounge in ZQN to use and if so, can a VA plat use it on intra NZ connections (ZQN-AKL-OOL)?
3. Can a VA plat access AKL ANZ lounge for the TT (on cheapest ANZ fare) and if so does the VA plat guesting entitlements hold?
4. Does the VA plat luggage allowances apply to ANZ flights (both TT and intra NZ)?

Any advice much appreciated.

PS - I'm hoping this post is in the correct board as they relate mostly to VA plat entitlements rather than the ANZ flights themselves.

2. Is there an ANZ lounge in ZQN to use and if so, can a VA plat use it on intra NZ connections (ZQN-AKL-OOL)? There is a lounge which Plats can access for domestic flights, so I would think Yes as your flight is to Auckland
3. Can a VA plat access AKL ANZ lounge for the TT (on cheapest ANZ fare) and if so does the VA plat guesting entitlements hold? Yes with 3 guests
4. Does the VA plat luggage allowances apply to ANZ flights (both TT and intra NZ)? No for TT, No for Domestic on Seat Only fare, Yes extra 23KG on Dom for any other fare

Ive used the OOL lounge with guests when traveling on NZ without anyproblems as an NZ Koru

Thank you all for your replies.

I'm nearing an end to this booking marathon. ZQN has been shelved as being too expensive.

Looks like this years skiing will be done on Ruapehu and timed to concide with a certain mid year Chrissie event in SYD. Right now, it looks like OOL-SYD is a JQ price match against TT (+ an extra 10% saving for the effort), SYD-AKL on VA, AKL-BNE on VA. For 4 of us, under $1900 OOL-SYD-AKL-BNE with luggage (hummm, just remembered the JQ lack of luggage ). To make things even more interesting, our eldest and her beau may be joining us, but he gets QF/JQ super discounts (work related) and she'll be tagging in some how with me to attempt some bennies. Now my +1 tells me, she has work committments which may mean she misses the JQ to SYD and maybe SYD in total (don't give away her dinner spot just yet MunitalP).

So bookings are on hold for a bit, but now we have SYD Hilton booked and paid x 2 rooms, Chrissie dinner booked and half paid x 2, AKL-BNE booked and paid x 5, OOL-SYD booked and paid x 4. How closely does JQ look at photo ID? My eldest just may accompany me to Chrissie dinner in lieu of +1.

And people wonder why I look old :shock:.
