VA flight (on a singapore and silk air plane) BNE <-> KUL

Will be booked on the flexi economy fare through work. will i get the 2*(60+20) status points from these fares? I may ask work if i can pay the difference for the business fare on the way home to push me into gold status.

im also going this way to get double velocity points if i book before the 13th Sept.

The real cost of upgrading a fare ( so you do earn J SC ) is very expensive... the smaller amounts you see to upgrade at the airport ( 500-1000) do not get you the extra status ( you earn at the original fare )

Also the double points promo is not valid for codeshare flight ... VA operated and marketed only

oh bugger... i cant get it for the codeshare flight... am i better off booking thorugh virgin or singapore then ?? ill get the same amount of points and status credits?


No work will pay economy over... and business back (i will pay the difference between the economy ticket to make it even)
