Ok quick question. Does PE on the triple 7 have foot rests? Australian Busniess Traveler says it does, but when i see photos of the seats it doesn't look like anything is down there. has anyone flow in this class and knows the answer? thanks guys!

Yes, they fold down from the seat in front of you, unless you are in row 10 and then you get a pouffe.

ah ok sweet! So they probably don't have the luxury feature of the Qantas ones where its more like a recliner huh? Its just like a bar that flips down? Well its still gonna help. not being able to put your feet up sucks

I think the VA Y+ seats are comparable in comfort.

Also, everything else is comparable to QF except the food, which is much better on QF.

Yes, it is a flip-down bar - not ideal but as you said, better than nothing. We flew in Y with Emirates from Perth to Europe return about 5 years ago, but all the footrests had been removed, which I didn't realise until we were onboard - being quite short, I REALLY need some sort of footrest to have any sort of comfort at all on a longhaul flight, so was not an enjoyable experience at all (it was a pretty awful trip all round with Emirates and we'd never fly them again anyway!).
