VA 332 in ADL

There's a VA A330 on the ground in ADL today. Can't see the rego - it's parked away. Anyone know the story?

According to Jetspotters:

VOZ474 Bris-Per diverting here at 0220 local VH-XFC A330.


Cloud at 900 feet in PER is the reason.

I believe the only diversion airports for PER that can handle A330 are RAAF Pearce (also likely low cloud) and then 2 hours to Learmonth so an early call of diversion to ADL.

They were well past ADL when the decision was made, approaching the bight

A routine diversion. SOP

But reminds one that Perth is one isolated place. (in more ways than one)

BTW per my earlier comment RAAF Pearce is only an emergency diversion alternate for PER
