Using Virgin Lounge with Singapore et al..

First time post. I have been reading the site and trying to work out if there is any benefit of my Virgin Lounge menbership when flying with Singapore, but am still unsure. I have a lowly Velocity status, sometimes as much as Silver as I mainly travel OS. Can I access Singapore lounges with only this memership in BNE, SIN and other ports? Should I be quoting my Velocity number as well as Singapore FF number when booking? or is only one allowed? Any other tips to maximize my points and SC would be appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately SQ will only allow access to Virgin Gold and Platinum members. Virgin Australia Lounge members do not get access.
