With little or no chance of using points for a while I made a 2 night Hotel booking at the Salt Shaker hotel in Townsville (33000points) and points were taken from account immediately and confirmation received. All good.
I then made a points booking for a 2 day rental car (full size Hybrid 51000 pts) Received confirmation from both QF and Avis but points were not taken at the time nor have they been taken as of now.
Has anyone done a car booking and is this normal
