Hi all,

i know with SQ you get up to 5 redemption nominees, QF is family only, AA is free for all.

How about the other frequent flyer programs out there? e.g. Velocity, Avios, United, Asia Miles, Etihad, Emirates etc?

Cheers
Andrew

Apologies in advance..............

Do you mean to imply I can actually use those pesky airline points for MY travel?:mrgreen:

Happy wandering

Fred

PS CX is apparently 5 also - though that can be changed (with limits)

Used VA points for the family in the past. If I even considered using points for my travels I would be out in the dog house.

NZ has shair points, EY and QR you can pool points, EK you can transfer. I think many have some sort of deal for families.

did a bit of research myself on flyertalk and found this great link re BAEC/Avios - looks like it is similar to AA in that you can use your points for anyone

Tickets can be issued to any name you request but you, the BAEC member retain control of the booking and must pay all the taxes, fees, and surcharges assessed against the ticket. So if you have booked a ticket for someone other than yourself to travel and that person wishes to make a change to the booking, you’ll need to contact your local BAEC service centre to request the change. In many cases, the change can be done online.
