using amex via PAYPAL?

Hi Everyone,

QR currently has great fares using promo code PAYPALAU, tried to complete purchase of CBR-DUB in J for FEB 23, however on checkout via PAYPAL AMEX wasn't an option, is this a glitch or amex not valid via PayPal , I have used amex numerous times directly with QR previously, fare difference is substantial without the PAYPALAU code, want to pay with amex for insurance and points.

Amex is my default Paypal payment method, use it all the time to get Amex points on websites that do not accept Amex but do take Paypal. But I have never made a purchase from Qatar.
