Hi,
Twice a yr I travel to Cyprus (generally via Dubai). Once a yr to Indonesia & a couple of times a yr Sydney to Melbourne trips.
I'm aiming to eventually get a free flight for my wife to go with me to Cyprus.
So I've joined both Emirates Skywards & Virgin Velocity (mainly because the Malaysian Air partnership can get me points when going to Indonesia).

Now my question :-
When flying domestic in Australia (via Virgin) should I favour the Skywards or the Velocity program?
Since Velocity has the partnership that geographically covers all my trips (Cyprus, Indonesia & Australia) - is there any advantage using the Skywards program?

any insights much appreciated!

Welcome to AFF flash.

While I don't know the in's and out's of both programs too well, do keep in mind that currently redemptions on Emirates via Velocity is not a terribly great option.

I would be using Skywards for your 2 Cyprus trips, and Velocity for the rest of the travel. Note that MH can take up to 1-2 months to credit, and make sure you keep your boarding passes!!
