I will be in the USA in May/June. I will be flying from LAX to Vancouver on the 1st of June 2012 in the evening. At present, there are no Star alliance awards at present on Air Canada for the flight I want. Should I wait for a few more months, or just purchase the fare outright.

Also if I do purchase a fare with Air Canada now, or wait for specials. I am not sure how often Air Canada may offer specials

Regards

Michael

We used Australian Expedia and did a Star Alliance flight for about $100 plus you then get hit with a $25 bag fee. I suggest you just pay up and pick a flight off the listing that comes up that really suits you.
Use your points for something better is what I am thinking.
