Hi,

I am going to the USA at the end of next year and I want to book my flights early. When do the airlines generally release cheap fares?

Also does anyone know what routes Virgin will be flying to the USA, and would they cheap fares for there inaugural flights?

Thanks

How late in the year?

If mid/late December, you're unlikely to see any specials due to school holidays/Christmas etc.

If November/very early Dec, then (for example) the airlines have all just released specials for Nov this year now.

Australia Blue (I'm about 95% certain that will be what the new Virgin offshoot will be called) being in the market may influence fares downwards, and they may have good starting specials. Time will tell...
