Hello Everyone,

I'll be going on a trip from Miami Florida to Sydney Australia next week, it's a 3 week trip with multiple flights in Australia. My question is, are any lounges I can get into (if any), worth it their price? I'm flying from MIA to LAX, and then LAX to SYD. In Australia I go from SYD to CNS, HTI to MEL; then back to US from MEL to LAX, and LAX to MIA.

I don't have any lounge access via FF/clubs/credit cards, I have a chase sapphire card, but I don't think that gets me into anything. The main reason I'd like to get into a lounge is just the comfort, the food also, but but most importantly, the different types of drinks I may be able to get. Both LAX layovers (INBD & OTBD) are over 5 hours, so if I could squeeze in a few drinks alone, and maybe some snacks, that may be worth the price paid at the door.

Any thoughts and advice are much appreciated.

Side note: I have been on a few lounges in my travels, most of them due to business class bid upgrades, or the few times I flew first/upper class.

Ninja edit: I'm flying AA from MIA to LAX and Qantas from LAX to Sydney; then Qantas in Australia, and Qantas back to LAX, AA from LAX to MIA.
