Upgraded to Silver Early?

Hey All

Firstly I am not complaining at all. I expected to hit silver after my flight this coming Friday (I fly home and back weekly).

Imagine my surprise when my Monday flight finally credited today, and a status review has changed me to silver (with only 245 SC).

Is this normal? Is this going to cause any issues with me getting into the lounge or paying for lounge access? Has anyone else noticed this?

And yes, it took me 21 sectors to hit silver. It's a long ride to gold

It would have no bearing on your lounge access, apart from getting the Silver discount for membership.

Sorry I'll try to be clearer.

Whilst the status shows silver I'm concerned it may be a mistake if I show up to the lounge on Friday wanting to use one of the 2 complimentary lounge passes. That I may not be able to take advantage of that benefit of silver velocity status if they check the status credits and see the mistake?

If the two passes are recorded on your account your fine.
