Per the title, I upgraded my charge card to Platinum, but in doing so the $200 Travel Credit vanished from my Edge card. So I whinged and it appears that Amex had merged the points accounts on the cards which they were happy to undo to make the credit come back. Presumably Amex wants to avoid paying out the Travel Credit on the Edge card going forward? But am I at a disadvantage by whatever they've done to bring it back to life on the Edge card?
