Updgrade Bid BNE-LAX PE - Business

Hi All,

Flying to LAX and onward to Canada from BNE in the coming week - 10 days, no flights booked as of yet. Company have a policy of PE only, but we maybe to twist their arm to go with business should we get it for another $1k or so for the BNE-LAX flights. Our thoughts are book PE and but a $1k bid on the business upgrade.

Anyone any insight into what kind of dollars would win the auction, and suggested on best days of the week to fly to be successful. We are flexible on what day of the week we leave in the next 10 days or so. We are members of virgin but not frequent users and only have Red status so I assume we'll be bottom of the Q.
