Upcoming Qantas website changes?

Ironically, the reason most sites get changed these days is to make them compatible with fat fingers on a mobile/tablet device.

Which subsequently renders them awful on a conventional 22" monitor. Whatever happened to web sites responding to the user agent and screen resolution in order to give the user the best possible experience?

yeah have lost the ability to mix cabin types on international bookings....

If so - sounds like a QF Yield management "upgrade" - not an end-user upgrade....

Not sure about that. If you could mix cabins, eg one way Y, back in PE, it would overall be higher yield I would have thought.

I think it can still be done domestically though with the similar inferface... I think it's just another design issue.

and dare I say it makes offers like they used to have such as "Buy J one way, get F the other" nigh on impossible to book online (in the older version you just picked the appropriate flights/cabins and it was easy).

Hope they fix this (and bring back that particular offer :D ) - but that's just about me.

It would make sense to me. Y+ on a day flight to Asia and J on the overnight return. Oh yeah, they didn't put Y+ on the 333s!!

Latest glitch for me is no Red E Deals showing up on any flight option I look at. Only Flex and Business. Domestic routes. Ridiculous.
