I have received a targeted promotion from United Mileage Plus whereby if I refer a friend or colleague to sign up for the united frequent flyer programme then I will receive 1,250 points and will receive a further 5,000 points if that referral flys on a United operated flight before 15 February. The person I refer will also qualify the bonus points ie if you take a flight before before 15 February you will get a total of 6,250 points in addition to those you get for the actual flight. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me and I was wondering if anybody out there would like to take advantage of the referral? If so just drop me an email.
