Hi
Not sure if anyone can offer words of wisdom
Have flight SIN-CMB-LHR tomorrow at 0945 on UL
Have checked in online but says can't issue BP for first leg due to SIN airport regulations (though suspect its not)
Thing is I am flying SYD-SIN on SQ today landing at 0020 (separate tickets)
Had hoped to be able to access the QR lounge on arrival to occupy the first couple of hours long layover but won't be able to without a BP
Presumably UL checkin won't open until 0645ish.

Any ideas?
Do you think the UL desk at SYD this evening might be able to assist (there's a SYD-CMB leaving then)
Might QR let me in based on the CMB-LHR BP (it is a OW J flight the same day)?

Unlikely for the last scenario, you need an onward boarding pass from the city you are leaving for lounge access.

Don’t know if the transit or transfer desk will be open to issue a BP?

Internet AI says no UL transfer desk at SIN but guess will see at generic transfer desk at SIN (if UL at SYD cant help)

Dunno who the ground handling agent is, might not be UL but SATS etc, who should have a staffed counter!

Internet AI told me today that Philippine Airlines is a member of oneworld (and proceeded to tell me all the oneworld benefits) and told me that Qantas Silver on KL coded flights gets priority check-in, boarding, and extra baggage.

So there’s hope :)

Go to the nearest transfer counter, they should be able to sort out the airside baggage transfer and the UL boarding pass (I have done this previously, but it was daytime and the main check in counters were open landside - I was able to remain airside)

Turns out no UL flight from SYD this evening so can strike that one. .
Fingers crossed for Changi
