Husband is *cough * over 60 and I happen to be looking at train trips later on this year across England..
Noticed they have a railcard discount for over 60s. I sent an email and the response was it is not required to be a UK resident. Only requirement is over 60 and pay 30 pounds for a year
The 1/3 off definitely worked. Did some dummy tickets for me and for him

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Yep - I've been using it for ages and you can get a digital card as well. Also - can then link the senior railcard to an oyster card in London and get cheaper fares on the bus and tube

I note your *cough*. When I used my Railcard last time in the UK on one of my trips they asked to see my ID. So as as long as your *cough* is a real one, then over 60 all is good.

In my case it was using the 2 together tickets which also provides large discounts.

I note your *cough*. When my wife and I used our Railcards last time in the UK on one of our trips the inspector on the train asked to see our ID as soon as he realised we had discounted tickets. So as as long as your *cough* is a real one, then over 60 all is good.
