Trying to purchase South African Airways flights with mastercard

I am trying to purchases flights from MEL to CPT on the SAA website.

At the bottom of their homepage the mastercard logo is pictured as one of the payment options but when I get to the payment page to book the flights it doesn't appear in the drop down list. The only options are:



I also tried their app but got the same result.

The only credit card I have is a mastercard. I do have a visa debit card but don't want to pay for flights with a debit card.

Has anyone been able to purchase SAA flights with a mastercard or have any advice?

I just had the same issue. Called SAA on the local number in Australia +61 02 9286 8960 Mon - Fri 09:00 - 17:00 Eastern Standard Time. Currently an issue with using a MC. After about 10 mins I spoke to a very helpful lady and did it over the phone very quickly. You'll need access to email at the same time as they'll send you a payment link.

Thanks for your reply NX665. I was going to call them the next day but in the meantime we decided to book on Singapore Airlines.
