Hi All,

Travelling to and around the U.S December/January, I have a review date of 6th January, 2017 and will maintain Gold with our flights to the U.S. We will be travelling with Delta and Air NZ after my review date, has anyone had any experience with gaining lounge access once the reviewed date on FF card has passed?

Many thanks!

Are you talking about the time between the Review Date and the Card Expiry date (both on the card)?

I haven't had any problems between the two dates. I've never had an expired card, but I have just used my DL boarding pass with VA status several times with no problem and no need to produce my card.

You have ~1 month after the review date where you hold onto status unless like me they do the review in ~2 weeks after review date and push you down to Silver early.

You current Velocity status prints on boarding pass.

No ... not just you ... that happened to me, although it was to Gold ... flew NZ in the period ...

The back of my Velocity card reads "Card valid for one month after review date." so if you are travelling upto 1 month after your review date and have your card, showing your card shouldn't be an issue.

That does not always help when "Computer Says No!" ...
