travelling to usa with criminal record

Supposed to be traveling to Vegas for wedding have a cultivation conviction 8 years old not been in trouble since will I get esta and would USA see our records

Applying for a USA visa is taking 6 months plus. My uninformed wild guess is that its unlikely you will get a visa. Do not buy any air tickets unless you are 100% sure you will be let into the USA

You should be ok, on the ESTA page just select yes when asked about controlled substances, at the end you will have a chance to list the date and where the offence occurred.
If it comes back as being refused, the next option is applying for a tourist visa which will involve more paperwork and a interview at your local US consulate plus a $160 fee.
